Colombia Cerro Azul - May 2019
Colombia Cerro Azul returned the Seattle Reserve Roastery on May 21, 2019.
This is a Geisha varietal coffee which appears roughly once a year at the Reserve Roastery. Here it is in June 2017. There was a 2016 release of this coffee which was a China Asia Pacific market release only. The 2016 release was not offered in the United States.
Reunion Island
This coffee launched on May 29, 2019. Rumor has it that it is a Seattle Reserve Roastery exclusive coffee and that Starbucks only sourced a few hundred pounds of it. It retails for $80 per half pound.
Kenya Kangunu (March 2019)
Kenya Kangunu launched at the Reserve Roastery in Seattle at the very beginning of March 2019. This coffee has been offered in previous seasons. This coffee was a StarbucksStore.com offering in March of 2017. Obviously, the 2017 release was a different crop year, but Starbucks has sourced this coffee previously for the Starbucks Reserve program.
